BEEKEEPER'S CLUB AT A GLANCE
Our Foundations
With a passion for pollinators developed throughout her childhood as the daughter of master beekeeper Alexandra (Alix) Bartsch, Anastasia Bartsch and her friends founded the Bee Club in 2015 as a means to introduce LHS peers to the vital role of bees in our environment.
Since Stasia's graduation, leaders Sophie Gregoretti and Wakako Okuda have increased Bee Club's involvement with Lexington's hives and local apiaries. The Bee Club members regularly participate in hands-on community service opportunities with the Lexington Bee Company to support Lexington's honeybees.
